Form-fit load securing. Without carpentry.

Load securing knows two principles. With friction-based securing, friction holds the load: top-over lashing, anti-slip mats, dunnage bags. With form fit, geometry holds it: the load has no room to move. Both principles are described in VDI 2700 and the CTU Code.

Timber blocking and bracing is a form fit. Only the form is built by hand every time, for a single trip.

wellDun delivers the form ready-made. Modules of heavy-duty corrugated board take the cargo and go into the standard container without tools. The principle is not new. What is new is that the form travels again and again.

Vertical flutes, a defined load path.

Direction is decisive. The flutes stand vertically, the position in which corrugated board takes the highest load. Up to 180 layers are bonded with wet strength, using a corn-starch adhesive.

Where the load ends up is decisive too. The shell is recessed in the middle, where the container floor carries least, and directs the load outwards onto the side rails. The cargo is secured. The container is spared.

In the expert inspection, the question was therefore not only whether the module holds. It was whether it pushes through the container floor.

The container stays as it is.

The system is placed in the standard container, not built into it. No conversion, no special equipment, no tools. Together with the spacers, it takes coils of different diameters.
